The Sales Till: Your Point of Sale
A POS-style interface built into Sales — searchable product tiles, a live cart, barcode scanning, and one-tap checkout. Works on your phone and your laptop.
The Sales Till: Your Point of Sale
The Sales page now has three views: Cards for a quick list, Sheet for detailed tracking, and Till for a proper point-of-sale experience. The Till is built for speed — tap a product, it goes into the cart, checkout in seconds.
The Product Grid
On the left side of the Till, a searchable grid of product tiles shows every item in your inventory. Each tile displays the name, price, and stock level — green when plenty, amber when running low, red and disabled when out of stock. Tap a tile to add one to the cart. Tap again to add another.
The Cart
The right side holds a sticky cart card. Adjust quantities with +/- buttons, remove items, and see the running total update in real time. Choose the payment method — Cash, M-Pesa, Bank, or any method you've configured — and tap the gradient button to log the sale.
Barcode Scanning
For electronics and electricals, a barcode scan button sits at the top of the product grid. Point your phone camera at a barcode, and Keel finds the product instantly — adding it to the cart without scrolling. Fast enough for a busy counter.
Works on Your Phone
On mobile, the Till hides the cart behind a sticky bottom bar showing item count and total. Tap it to open a slide-up sheet with the full cart. After logging a sale, a receipt pops up and the cart clears — ready for the next customer.
Pay with M-Pesa at the Counter
The Till includes a Collect button. If the customer wants to pay with M-Pesa, tap Collect and Keel pushes the prompt to their phone. The cart total is locked in — no typing the amount again. Pay, confirm, done.
Credit Tab
Selling on credit? Switch to the Credit tab in the cart, search for the customer, set a promise date, and log the sale. The customer's profile tracks what they owe and when it's due. No separate credit book needed.
Who It's For
Any shop that rings up sales at a counter — retail stores, electronics shops, boutiques, hardware stores. The Till turns your Sales page into a proper POS without needing a separate till system.
