Defining the services you offer
Set up your Services list so writing an order takes seconds.
Why define services first
Keel starts with a list of common services seeded for your category — e.g. laundry comes with Wash & Fold and Dry Clean per kg, a salon with Haircut and Manicure, a garage with Oil Change and Brake Pads. You can edit the prices, hide ones you don't offer, or add your own.
Your service list is what you pick from when writing an order, so keeping it tidy means faster orders.
Choosing a pricing mode
- 1Open Services from the sidebar and click Add Service (or edit an existing one).
- 2Set the pricing mode — Flat rate, Per item (e.g. per shirt), Per kg (laundry), or Per hour.
- 3For anything other than flat, add the unit label — kg, item, hr, photo, etc.
- 4Save. The charge per unit computes the order total automatically.
Managing your list
Edit a service to change its price and the order form reflects it immediately. Remove a service you no longer offer — it just stops appearing in the order form; past orders keep their history.
