What a storefront gives you
Your Keel website is a brochure; a storefront is a shop. It is a complete, mobile-first catalogue site with its own web address, real product pages, and the same catalogue data you already publish in Keel.
Every product page can open a WhatsApp chat with the product already named, which is how most shops in Kenya actually take orders.
It is being rebuilt
We are rebuilding the storefront builder. The old version is no longer available from the Storefront page, and we would rather say so plainly than leave a button that quietly does nothing.
If you already have a storefront, it stays exactly where it is. Nothing goes away until you choose to move across.
See the designs, and get a preview
- 1Open Storefront from the sidebar. It works for every plan.
- 2Browse the five designs. Each preview is drawn with the real colours and corner radii, not a screenshot of something similar.
- 3Answer four questions about what you sell and how you want it to feel. It takes about a minute.
- 4Your answers go to whoever builds it, so you get the direction you asked for rather than a default — and a preview of it before it goes live.
One thing worth knowing
A storefront is a photograph taken at a moment. Publishing a product in Inventory does not change a site that is already live — you press Update, and the new site will make that obvious rather than leaving you to wonder why a product is missing.
