Inventory
Inventory as a spreadsheet
Work through products like an Excel sheet — edit in place, pick values from a list, and paste whole rows at once.
Switching to Sheet view
Keel remembers which view you prefer, so you don't have to switch back each time.
- 1Open Inventory from the sidebar.
- 2In the top-right, tap the Sheet button next to the Cards view.
- 3The table shows one product per row with a live row number and column letters, like a spreadsheet.
Editing cells in place
Editing stock in the sheet works like an adjustment — it updates the count and adds an entry to your stock history automatically.
- 1Double-click any cell — name, category, price, cost, stock, barcode, or an attribute column.
- 2Type the new value and press Enter to save and move down, or Tab to move right.
- 3Press Escape to cancel the edit.
Pick from a list instead of typing
On text cells like Category, Keel shows a menu of the values you already use — pick one and it fills the cell. Attribute columns (colour, size, etc.) list the options for your business type, plus any values already entered.
Use the arrow keys to move through the list and Enter or Tab to choose. The list narrows as you type, and you can still type your own value if it's not there yet.
Copy and paste rows
- 1Click a row to select it — hold Ctrl (or ⌘) to pick several, or Shift for a range.
- 2Press Ctrl+C to copy the selected rows as a table.
- 3You can paste them straight into Excel, or copy whole rows from a spreadsheet and press Ctrl+V in the sheet to add or update products in one go.
- 4If your browser blocks the clipboard, the paste window opens and does the same job.
Sort, rearrange and resize columns
Click a column header to sort the sheet by that column, newest or oldest values first. Drag a header left or right to move the column — Keel remembers your column order. Drag the thin edge at the right of a header to widen or narrow a column, and that size is remembered too.
