Getting started with your service business

Set up your service shop, add what you offer, and take your first order in minutes.

Create your account

Go to keel.framestudio.co.ke and click Get Started. Sign up with your email, shop name, and a password — no credit card needed, and every new shop gets a 7-day free trial.

Pick your business type (service-based) and your category — Laundry, Salon & Beauty, Nails, Barber, Auto Repair, Photography, Cleaning, or Electronics Repair. Keel then tailors your dashboard: instead of inventory and sales you get Services, Orders, and Customers.

Add the services you offer

  1. 1Open Services from the sidebar.
  2. 2Keel seeds a list of common services for your category — edit the prices or add your own with Add Service.
  3. 3Set a pricing mode for each: fixed (one price), per item, per kg (laundry), or per hour.
  4. 4These appear in the order form so you can write orders quickly.

Take your first order

  1. 1Open Orders and click New order.
  2. 2Add the customer's name (and phone so they're recognised next time).
  3. 3Pick the services they need and add notes — e.g. 'add starch' for laundry.
  4. 4Save, then move the order through Pending → In Progress → Ready → Completed.
